Ink JetInk Jet receipt printers are capable of printing on plain paper and some ink jet printers ahve a black ink cartridge and a colour ink cartridge (red, blue or green) which is very useful if you wish to add colour to your receipts or dockets. If you do require two-colour receipts, an ink jet printer is significantly less expensive to run in terms of comsmable costs than using an impact or thermal printer (thermal printers that are capable of prining in two colours require very expensive special thermal paper.
